Overview

A modern employee award classification sets out the minimum terms and conditions of employment on top of the National Employment Standards (NES). In this workshop, you will learn how to identify which modern award applies to your workplace and the elements of the award that you need to understand.

You will learn to interpret the clauses within the award and access and read the associated pay guides. Understand how to handle employee’s pay under the award including ordinary hours, overtime, penalties and allowances.

This interactive workshop will include a Q&A at the end of the session.
