Wherever you are in regional Western Australia, you’re never far from free, confidential and practical advice on starting and running a small business.
You can access support directly from us or through our Business Local outreach service, available through a network of providers in regional areas across the State. Their advisers can give free advice and guidance on a range of topics to help you build and grow your business. They are experienced in business and understand how things work in your area.
You can access the service for a one-to-one appointment to discuss a specific matter or attend a practical workshop to build your business skills. Business Local providers will deliver their service in ways that best meets your needs. This could include face-to-face meetings, teleconferencing, email or telephone.
Help with a range of business topics
Contact your nearest Business Local provider for help with a short-term problem, a longstanding issue, or to discuss ideas to help you grow your business. Some of the topics they can help with include:
- starting a business
- planning for success
- marketing your products or services
- social media management
- employing staff
- managing your business finances
- getting paid on time
Advisers can also refer you to organisations, programs and useful contacts to access additional or specialist support.
When providing you with advice and guidance, it will be made clear that you are receiving the free-of-charge Business Local service. You may also choose to take advantage of the providers’ other services but you will be under no obligation to do so.
