Easy guide to starting a restaurant

Starting a business can be the beginning of an exciting and sometimes challenging adventure. Depending on the type of business and the industry you wish to enter, there will be certain things you will need to get started.

If you’re planning to open a restaurant, the SBDC has joined forces with the Department of Finance to produce an easy-to-follow ‘Beginner's guide to opening a restaurant’.

This interactive infographic is part of the State Government’s overall drive to reduce red tape for small business operators, setting out the steps required to open a restaurant or café in WA. Other projects include starting an aquaculture business and (due to launch in early 2017) a guide to opening a retail outlet.
