Collection Statement: Booking a workshop via Humanitix
This Personal Information Collection Statement is subject to the Privacy and Responsible Information Sharing Act 2024 and our Privacy Policy.
The Small Business Development Corporation (SBDC) is collecting your first name, last name, email address, mobile number, business duration, business industry, and business location for the purpose of managing your booking for a workshop with the SBDC. If you are registering for a workshop which requires payment, your payment details (PayPal, (Credit card - full name, credit card number, expiry, CVV), Google Pay, Apple Pay) will be collected by Humanitix for the purpose of processing payment and credit card details only and are not stored by them. They may also disclose this information to entities located overseas for the purposes of processing your payment. The SBDC will be advised that you have successfully booked.
This information we collect is used in processing your payment for a booking, contacting you about your booking, administering our services to you; and may be used for marketing purposes such as contacting you regarding other workshops which may be of interest.
If you do not provide the information to us, or if that information is incomplete or inaccurate, then we may be unable to facilitate your request for a workshop booking.
The information may be disclosed to Humanitix, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Paypal and third parties engaged by us to provide services on our behalf; government departments, auditors, emergency service providers, and law enforcement agencies for the purposes of providing our services; or where required or authorised by law.
You should note that information provided to the SBDC is subject to the Freedom of Information Act 1992.
