METRONET opportunities for local small businesses

Local businesses can learn more about how they can get involved in the development of METRONET by attending a briefing session hosted by the State Government to be held in Bentley on Thursday 26 October.

An essential element of the METRONET project is the government’s procurement target of using 50 per cent of local content work for the manufacture and maintenance of a new design of railcars.

The briefing session is designed to provide the government and manufacturing businesses, including sub-supplier small and medium businesses, with an opportunity to understand the skills, products and services available in Western Australia to support METRONET.

As part of the briefing session, there will also be networking opportunities for small and medium sized businesses looking to be involved in future supply chain work.
