Mal Bryce – a man of vision, ahead of his time

Mal Bryce joined Kitty Prodonovich and past  SBDC chair ray MountneyThe Hon Dr. Mal Bryce AO, former deputy premier of WA, was responsible for establishing the Small Business Development Corporation in 1984.

He was elected to Parliament in 1971 at the age of 28, and retired from politics in 1988. He had enduring passion and support for the State’s small business sector.

In 2014, Mr Bryce returned to the SBDC to help us celebrate 30 years of continuous service to small business in Western Australia.

Mr Bryce passed away on 3 March 2018, at the age of 74.
