Good news from IP Australia – fees dropping
IP Australia has reviewed and amended its trademarks and patents fees with many being either reduced or completely removed. These changes are in line with IP Australia’s innovation policy to support small business.
International Type Search Patents have been reduced to $950 (previously $2,200) and Trademark Registrations which incurred a fee of $300 are now free of charge.
The new fees and changes take effect from 10 October 2016.
More information about the new fees and charges can be found at IP Australia.
