Dates are now set for the next round of the State Government's BiZFiT business resilience program, with small and medium sized businesses in Bunbury, Busselton, Manjimup and Geraldton amongst the first to benefit in 2010.Participants are encouraged to book early to secure their places.
Managing Director of the Small Business Development Corporation (SBDC), Mr Stephen Moir, says the Local Business Forums and the BiZFiT Extend programs held so far have been overwhelmingly successful.
"We've had great feedback from participants who have found the BiZFiT information practical and very relevant to their businesses," Mr Moir said.
The BiZFiT program, launched in October 2009, is part of the State Government's $2 million investment into the development and success of small business in Western Australia. The program is being rolled out in four stages; Local Business Forums, BiZFit Extend two-day training session, BiZFiT Pulse check for Businesses, and the BiZFiT Scholarship, with each stage being delivered in both metropolitan and regional centres over the next eighteen months.
