A record number of small businesses from around the State have entered the Awards this year, resulting in an impressive group of finalists for the tenth anniversary of the Small Business Development Corporation’s major business award event.
The Mid-West and Great Southern regions are leading the field with five finalists each, four each from the Pilbara and the South West, three each from Kimberley and Goldfields/Esperance and for the first time, two finalists have been chosen from the Wheatbelt region.
This outstanding group of businesses will join over 250 friends, family and business associates at a gala presentation evening to be held at the Crown Perth Convention Centre on Friday 9 November 2012.
At the event, the Minister for Small Business, the Hon. Simon O’Brien MLC, will present the GWN7 Western Australian Regional Small Business of the Year award, and announce the Inductee to the Regional Small Business Hall of Fame for 2012.
