2008 GWN WARSBA Winners
Wayne Cattach and his team at Traxon Industries Pty Ltd., Bunbury were the big winners of the GWN Western Australian Regional Small Business Awards, held in Perth on Friday 14 November 2008.
The gala event was held in the Astral Ballroom of the Burswood Entertainment Complex with over 270 guests attending from around the State.
Traxon Industries Pty Ltd won the category for Best Business with 10 – 20 employees as well as the overall Award for “2008 GWN Western Australian Regional Small Business of the Year”.
Minister for Commerce, Hon. Troy Buswell who presented the Awards, said the contribution made by small business operators to the economic and social wellbeing of regional Western Australia should not be underestimated.

Winner: Cape Howe Cottages (Albany) - Small Business Centre Network, "Small Business Achiever" Award:
Winner: Combined Team Services (Bunbury) - 2009 WA Regional Small Business Hall of Fame
Mr Hugh Gallagher, Chief Executive Officer of the Regional Chambers of Commerce and Industry was named the 2008 Inductee to the Western Australian Regional Small Business Hall of Fame.
